Embracing Peace
Every world religion offers lessons on how to live in peace and harmony with both Earth and one another. This book represents a deep dive into peace-related tales that have been shared with children all over the world for centuries.
My 16 favorites were chosen, in part, because they help kids explore the concept of peace in a variety of ways. The stories come from eight different traditions (Sub-Saharan African, Native American, Hindu/Sanatana Dharma, Buddhist, Sikh, Jewish, Christian, and Islamic).
