Multifaith Monday 10/27/14

Last week, I attended an ancestor vigil led by my favorite local pagan/wiccan priestess, Byron Ballard. It was held, as in years past, on the All Soul’s church campus. It’s always a great opportunity to honor those who have recently died as well as those martyred in that tradition. So, Happy New Year to our pagan friends! It was also Diwali last week. I recently discovered a Vedic Hindu retreat center, Mount Soma, here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was too late for me to attend Diwali celebrations there, but it’s on my list for the near future.

Here are my top 5 picks for faith-related news articles in the last week. Enjoy!
