Multifaith Monday 9/15/2014

I had an awesome interfaith weekend! On Friday evening, I attended a Twelve Tribes shabbat at a local farm that grows the food for our weekly CSA baskets. On Saturday evening, I attended part of a medicine Buddha healing ritual at Urban Dharma before having dinner with the Tibetan spiritual leaders who constructed the sand mandala. On Sunday morning, author Tom Robbins read excerpts from his book Tibetan Peach Pie at Jubilee!, and on Sunday afternoon, best-selling author, Reza Aslan, talked about his latest book, Zealot, at Malaprop’s bookstore.

However, I was not the only one engaged in various faith-related activities over the last few days! Here are my top news story picks from last week in case you missed them.
