My Eye-Opening Experiences at the Parliament of the World’s Religions

This week’s post was published under the title “One conference won’t change the world but it can spread hope” for the Christian Century.

In this article, I share a few of my experiences at the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Salt Lake City, Utah. It begins with a description of a Sikh langar, which is a free vegetarian meal offered to anyone and everyone in the community. (It was simply amazing to watch them feed thousands of people over the course of the week.) I then go on to describe a few other highlights from my amazing interfaith/multifaith week.
